Apple take lead over Google in USA

The Battle never ends ,The new smartphone sales records  shows that  iOS back to the number one  in the US. Now Apple has a 48.1% share of  smartphone sales and for Android which has 46.7%  ,in USA.

Unfortunately in  Europe where Android still takes the lead.  sales in Germany 73.9%  and  81.7% in Spain. How ever in Britain where apple  holds a 32.7% share its very impressive . Germany  one of the  tough market for Apple, share falling by 5.1 percentage over the last  year.  The new  Samsung Galaxy S3 has taken  about 25 %r of the  smartphone sales its very helpful for android.  In Italy Nokia helps Windows , good sales of the Nokia Lumia 610 ( fourth best selling handset over the past 12 weeks)  and the Nokia Lumia 800 ( seventh best selling) this leads  Windows’ share up to 11.7% ( highest across Europe).

The last time iOS overtake Android in the USA  was when the iPhone 4S was released  (49.3%). This time hope  that Apple will beat  previous record and create new record in  the US smartphone market .Now Main reason  -I PHONE 5.

In  US iPhone 5 sales, 62%, have come from existing Apple users,  ie  upgrading to the latest  device, and  also   13 % of users switched from Android to I phone .people switching from BlackBerry devices- 6%,  and a very  small number  new Smartphone owners. Apple has always managed to maintain their service and quality. So  92% of existing Apple owners in the USA said they will choose an iPhone the next time they upgrade. Apples loyalty play key role, its help to  attract new customers  to Apple. approximately  60% of US iPhone 5 sales coming from existing customers and 40% from new customers it shows the  strength of the brand In  USA. main  physical changes on the iPhone 5 was a bigger 4” screen , 4G/LTE capability, both of which had a big impact on the  consumers .
